During the celebration of the 25 years of the Medicine program, held this Thursday, October 21, UNAB presented this recognition to Virgilio Galvis Ramírez, doctor and specialist in Ophthalmology at the University of Antioquia, and doctor in Health Sciences at the University from Oviedo.

In accordance with the Resolution, UNAB awarded the 'Infinite Wisdom' distinction for its contribution and contribution to the formation of a prosperous, innovative society with greater well-being. Galvis Ramírez has extensive experience in public and private management in the health and educational sector, serving as Minister of Health, founder and President of the Board of Directors of the Santander Ophthalmological Foundation-Clínica FOSCAL, founder and President of the Board of Directors of the FOSUNAB Foundation and founding dean of the UNAB Medicine Program, management from which he has provided great contributions to society.

The University also highlighted the work of former deans Juan Carlos Mantilla Suárez, Luis Camacho Márquez, Luz Marina Corso Morales and Juan José Rey Serrano, current Secretary of Health of Bucaramanga, professors and administrators, for the unconditional support and knowledge provided to the graduates. and students of the program in 25 years.
