IOL MASTER 700
The IOL Master 700 Biometer uses the latest Zeiss technology for the measurement and calculation of Intraocular Lenses in cataract and clear lens surgery. Thanks to its new technological platform, the new IOLMaster 700 has the potential to significantly improve refractive results in cataract interventions. Zeiss thus achieves another fundamental change in biometrics by offering security and predictability. In addition to optical biometry, it offers OCT images of the entire length of the eye. IOLMaster 700 measures all biometric parameters for the latest Premium Intraocular Lens power calculation formulas.
Corneal pachymetry is the process of measuring the thickness of the cornea. Pachymetry is usually performed before refractive surgery, for keratoconus, LRI surgery and is useful in the examination for patients with suspected developing glaucoma, among other uses. Corneal pachymetry is essential for other corneal surgeries such as Limbal Relaxation Incisions. ILR is often used to reduce corneal astigmatism by making a pair of incisions of a particular depth and arc length along a steep axis of corneal astigmatism.
