Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is the surgery used to correct defects, deformities or asymmetries of the eyelids, whether for functional reasons in which excess skin affects the upper visual field, cosmetic reasons or both.
The most common reason is cosmetics in which excess skin and fat are removed or repositioned to give a more pleasant and youthful appearance.
As the years go by, the eyelids stretch and the muscles that support them weaken. Consequently, you can notice or prolapse fat above and below the eyelids called “bags”, which give people a tired and older appearance.
Blepharoplasty can reduce or eliminate vision problems and make your eyes appear younger and more alert.
