LENSTAR LS 900
The Lenstar 900 Biometer provides high-precision laser optical measurements for every section of the eye, from the cornea to the retina, and is the first optical biometer on the market that can measure crystalline lens thickness. With its integrated Hill-RBF method, Barrett and Olsen formula and optional Torico planner via Barrett's toric calculator, Lenstar provides the user with the latest technology in Intraocular Lens prediction for any patient.
Ocular biometry is a test that measures the axial length of the eyeball. It allows you to calculate the dioptric power of the intraocular lenses that are implanted when the lens is extracted, in cataract surgery. There are two methods: Ultrasound biometry, based on ultrasonic ultrasound, and optical biometry (IOLMASTER) based on the optical coherence laser projection optical system.
