Upon arrival at the Mobile Ophthalmology Unit, please report to the reception desk at least 10 minutes in advance to complete the administrative procedures before your appointment time.

The admissions officer will receive the patient's personal information from a database (Medical History) and will provide guidance on the steps to follow during their stay at the Mobile Ophthalmology Unit.
If necessary, present your authorization, ID, and co-signer fee (if applicable) and update your contact information.
You will be given a survey to evaluate our services at the end of your visit. Please return it to the drop box in the Mobile Ophthalmology Unit waiting room upon exit.

You will need to wait 15 minutes to be served. If you are accompanied, we recommend waiting outside the unit, with the exception of adults over 70 years of age, children under 10 years of age, and people with disabilities.
You must wait in the room for the call from the professional who will perform the exam or consultation.

When you enter the office, remember to wear a face mask. You can ask your healthcare professional questions about your care there. It's important that you follow the instructions for a successful exam or evaluation. If you experience any discomfort, please report it immediately.
[/inwave_accordion_item][inwave_accordion_item title=”STEP 6 – SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS”]At the end of the consultation, the health professional will give you special care instructions, subsequent tests if necessary and a medical order, as well as the date of delivery of the results, if diagnostic tests were performed.
You'll also find our Vioptica sales consultant who will assist you in your selection of frames and lenses, if needed.
Some results may take up to four (4) days. Others are processed immediately and delivered 20 minutes after the test is performed. To claim your results, you must present your ID or authorization from a third party if you are not the patient requesting them.
