Upon arrival at the institution, please go to the reception desk, where you must arrive at least 10 minutes in advance to complete the administrative procedures before your appointment time.

Admissions professionals will receive the patient's personal information from a database (Medical History), then take the patient's blood pressure and instruct them on the steps to follow during their stay at the ophthalmology center.
If necessary, present your medical prescription, ID, and co-ordinating fee (if applicable) and update your contact information.
You will be given a survey to evaluate our services at the end of your visit. Please return it to the drop box in the waiting room at the office upon departure.

If necessary for your exam or consultation, eye drops will be administered to dilate your pupils. You must be accompanied by an adult and sign the authorization form for this procedure, informing you if you have any major medical conditions, especially heart conditions. You should wait 15 to 30 minutes for your pupils to reach the appropriate size.
If this procedure is not required, you must wait in the room for the call from the professional who will perform the exam or consultation.

When you enter the office, you can ask your healthcare professional questions related to your care (examination or consultation). It is important that you follow the instructions for a successful examination or evaluation. If you experience any discomfort, please report it immediately.
[/inwave_accordion_item][inwave_accordion_item title=”STEP 6 – SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS”]At the end of the exam or consultation, the health professional will give you special care instructions and the date of delivery of the results, if diagnostic tests were performed.
Some results may take up to four (4) days. Others are processed immediately and delivered 20 minutes after the test is performed. To claim your results, you must present your ID or authorization from a third party if you are not the patient requesting them.

Algunos resultados pueden tardar hasta cuatro (4) días. Otros, se procesan de inmediato y se entregan 20 minutos después de realizada la prueba.
