Recommendations to prevent complications after surgery
- The eye bandage is removed the day after surgery, before taking a shower.
- Clean your face as normal, allowing soapy water to run over the outside of your eye, avoiding direct contact with the water.
- Wash your hands before applying drops or touching your eyes to avoid infection.
- You do not require a special diet due to surgery. Continue your normal diet.
- Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages.
