Upon arrival at the institution, go to the reception desk where you must announce yourself, at least 10 minutes in advance to complete the administrative procedures before the appointment time.
The admissions professionals will receive the patient's personal data that is recorded in a database (Clinical History), then take the patient's blood pressure and indicate the steps to follow during their stay at the ophthalmological center.
If necessary, present your medical order, identification document and moderator fee (if applicable) and update your contact information.
A survey will be given to you to evaluate our services at the end of your care. Please leave it in the mailbox in the headquarters waiting room upon departure.
If required for your exam or consultation, drops will be applied to dilate your pupil. It is necessary that you be accompanied by an adult and sign the authorization for this procedure, informing if you suffer from major illnesses, especially heart diseases. You will need to wait 15 to 30 minutes for the pupil to reach the proper size.
If this procedure is not required, you must wait in the room for the call of the professional who will perform the exam or consultation.
When you enter the office you can ask questions related to your care (examination or consultation) to the health professional. It is important that you follow the instructions for the proper development of the exam or assessment in consultation. If you feel any discomfort, please report it immediately.
